Marja Hinfelaar, serves as Director of Research and Programmes at the Southern African Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR) in Lusaka, Zambia. Her work focuses on the political economy of natural resources, Zambian politics and elections, and state capacity. She is Zambia coordinator of 'African Extractivism- the Green Transition' Visiting Scholar, York University, Canada, Senior Fellow, University of Johannesburg
Taona E. Mwanyisa is an elections, democracy and governance specialist with extensive experience across research, policy, programme design and implementation in Africa. He works at the intersection of electoral processes, democratic reform and conflict-sensitive governance.

He combines academic work with public engagement, advisory roles and litigation-related commentary on constitutional and governance issues
Hope Mubanga

Hope Mubanga is a governance and public policy professional with wide experience in democratic governance, elections, and strengthening institutions across Africa. She has worked on election observation and conflict prevention missions with the African Union and the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA), helping to improve electoral processes and provide evidence-based policy advice. Hope is currently Project Manager at the Southern African Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR). She was part of the pioneering SEDROBZ I project and continues this work under SEDROBZ II 2026, building on past successes to support fair and credible elections in Zambia.
